As of October 2026
The controller for data processing on this website (guestbook and photo service) is Frank Brade, sole proprietor (DJ Toady), Uhlenhorstweg 4, 14547 Beelitz, Germany, email: info@djtoady.de, phone: +49 1785687937.
This site and all uploaded content are stored on my own server in Germany, not with a US provider. When you visit, technically necessary connection data is processed (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). The IP address is also held briefly in memory to prevent abuse (limiting requests over time). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and stable operation). Data is not stored longer than necessary for this purpose.
If you use the enquiry form, I process your name, email address, optionally phone number and event location, the date, the chosen package, design and language, your message and, if provided, your billing address. The purpose is to handle your enquiry and perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I also process the form data on the basis of your consent by ticking the box (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
After your enquiry I set up your guestbook automatically and email you the invoice, print templates and access links. This may include reminder emails (e.g. about setup and payment). Via a link in the email you can cancel the enquiry free of charge at any time; your order, guestbook and invoice are then deleted.
Guests at your event open the page via a QR code or link, without an app and without signing up. They can upload a name, text message, photo, voice recording (up to 60 seconds) as well as photos and videos. The content is stored on the server and is visible or audible to the hosts and to people with the link to the guest page. Legal basis is the guests’ consent by saving their entry (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); the notice is shown right at the form. Entries can be deleted on request.
After the runtime of the booked package (3, 6 or 12 months from the event date, extendable on request) all content is deleted automatically. The hosts receive an email reminder beforehand.
Payment is made by bank transfer or via PayPal. When paying via PayPal, PayPal’s privacy policy also applies. To match the payment I process the data visible on the bank statement (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). I keep invoices and booking data for as long as statutory retention periods require (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
I send emails (confirmation, invoice, reminders, download link) via my email provider. The content of the emails and the recipient’s address are processed there for this purpose.
If you arrive via a partner’s personal link (e.g. another DJ), your enquiry is assigned to that partner so that the discount and commission can be settled. The partner does not receive your contact details. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
A technically necessary session cookie is set in the guestbook and administration area (protection against abusive form requests, operator login). On the home page your browser stores your language and currency choice and your cookie decision locally (localStorage); this data does not leave your device. Legal basis: § 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Only if you agree in the cookie notice do I load the Google tag from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google then sets cookies to measure whether an ad led to an enquiry. Data (including IP address and device identifiers) may be transferred to Google servers, also in the USA (basis: EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Without your consent no Google script is loaded. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. I retrieve the Google reviews shown on the page on the server side via the Google Places API and cache them for 24 hours. Your browser does not connect to Google for this and your IP address is not transmitted. Publicly visible reviews are shown (name or initials, text, stars). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (transparent presentation of customer opinions).
All fonts and images are loaded from my own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or other external providers.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Please send requests to info@djtoady.de. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Access to Information of Brandenburg.
